Describe what you see

When might you need this service?

You do not need to diagnose the installation yourself.

01

Modernising an existing home

02

Changing room layouts

03

Combining electrical work with a renovation

What the electrician checks

Understand the work before you agree.

01

Assess what is there

Existing components do not automatically all need replacement. Condition, access and future electrical use determine the sensible scope.

02

Plan around disruption

If you will live in the property during work, discuss access, temporary power interruptions and the schedule for wall and floor finishes.

For homes in the Netherlands

Connect the electrical plan to your renovation

Share a room plan, expected equipment and when walls or floors will be open. In a rented home or apartment, arrange permission and access to shared spaces before booking fixed electrical changes.

Ask what is included in cable routing, testing and making good after the work.

Start with a few details

Describe the job in plain English.

Tell us what you see, where the work is and how we can reach you. You do not need to choose a technical solution before contacting us.

Send your request

A request is not a confirmed booking.

Prepare your request

These details are useful.

  • Your plans per room
  • What must keep working
  • Builder contact and timeline if applicable

In a rented home or apartment?

Tell your landlord or property manager about a fault and check who can approve changes to fixed wiring. Mention access to a shared meter room or parking area where relevant.

Find your town
Know what you are agreeing to

Ask for the full cost before work starts.

The price depends on the fault or installation, materials, labour and timing. Describe your situation so we can discuss the relevant charges before you confirm a visit.

How costs are discussed
01

Visit and diagnosis

Ask about a call-out charge and fault finding.

02

Labour, materials and VAT

Ask for the expected total, including applicable VAT.

03

Urgent or additional work

Check possible evening or weekend charges, and agree to extra work first.

04

For this particular job

Replacement scope, accessible routes and making good affect price. Put inclusions, exclusions and approval of extra work in writing.

Questions

Questions about electrical renovation.

You can call if your situation is different.

Does renovation require replacing everything?

Not always. An electrician assesses what can remain and what needs updating for the planned use.

Do I need to know what caused the problem?

No. Tell us what stopped working, when it started and whether it affects a room or the entire property. Do not open the fuse box or try to repair exposed wiring yourself.

Is my online request a confirmed booking?

No. We contact you to discuss the job, expected timing, availability and costs. An appointment is confirmed only after you agree.

I rent my apartment. Who should I contact?

You can describe the problem to us, but also tell your landlord or property manager. For work in shared parts of a building, access and permission may need to be arranged.
