Last updated: 16 September 2026
This privacy statement explains which personal data Elektricien24service processes, why we do so, who may receive the data, and what rights you have. Elektricien24service is a trading name of MASS B.V..
1. Who is responsible?
MASS B.V., at Van Middellandtstraat 19, 1057 AP Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce number 98841564, is the controller of personal data processed through this website and in connection with our services.
For privacy questions, email info@elektricien24service.nl or call 085-4016034.
2. Which personal data do we process?
Depending on how you contact us, we may process:
- your name, address, town or city, postcode and house number;
- your phone number and email address;
- information about your electrical job or fault, home, business premises, or preferred appointment;
- photos, documents or additional information you provide yourself;
- quotes, appointments, invoices, payments, correspondence and complaint information;
- for job applications: your name, place of residence, contact details, experience, availability and anything else you send us;
- technical information such as IP address, browser, device, pages visited, date and time, security logs and cookie preferences.
Please do not send medical details, a Dutch citizen service number (BSN) or other sensitive information unless it is necessary for your request.
3. Why do we process this data?
We process personal data for these purposes and on these legal bases:
- Requests and contracts: to assess your request, contact you, discuss a price and schedule, carry out appointments and provide aftercare. This is necessary for steps before entering into a contract and for performing a contract.
- Customer service and complaints: to answer questions, change appointments, and deal carefully with disputes or complaints. We do this to perform a contract and on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing good service and keeping appropriate records.
- Administration and legal duties: for invoicing, bookkeeping, tax obligations and responding to competent authorities.
- Security and improvement: to prevent misuse, duplicate submissions and technical problems, and to keep the website usable and secure. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest.
- Recruitment: to assess job applications and contact applicants about a position.
- Marketing: only when the law allows it. Where consent is required, you can withdraw it at any time.
4. How do we receive your data?
We mainly receive information directly from you, for example through the request form, by phone or email, or during an appointment. Address details may be supplemented with public address sources to check your entry. If someone contacts us on your behalf, we expect that person to be authorised to share your information.
5. Who do we share personal data with?
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only when necessary for our services or required by law. Possible recipients include:
- employees and engaged electricians or service partners who need to handle your request;
- suppliers for hosting, security, communication, scheduling, administration and invoicing;
- advisers, insurers, debt collection providers or competent public authorities when necessary or legally required.
Parties that process personal data solely on our instructions are bound by appropriate privacy and security arrangements. An independent service provider may be responsible for their own processing; where relevant, we will inform you of this.
6. Processing outside the European Economic Area
Where possible, we choose suppliers that process data within the European Economic Area (EEA). If a supplier processes data outside the EEA, we arrange a legally permitted transfer, for example on the basis of an adequacy decision or approved standard contractual clauses, with additional safeguards where needed.
7. How long do we keep data?
We do not keep personal data longer than necessary. Unless a longer statutory or legal retention period applies, we generally use these periods:
- requests that do not result in a job: up to 24 months after the last substantive contact;
- customer, job and invoice records: as long as necessary to perform the work and honour warranties; tax records are generally kept for seven years;
- complaint, damage and dispute files: while the matter is ongoing, and afterwards for as long as a relevant statutory limitation period justifies;
- job application details: no later than four weeks after the recruitment process ends, or up to one year if you expressly consent to longer retention;
- security and technical logs: generally up to 90 days, unless longer retention is needed to investigate an incident.
8. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures, including access restrictions, protected storage, secure connections, administrator authorisation and measures against misuse. No system is entirely without risk. If you suspect misuse or a data breach, contact us immediately.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of processing, or transfer of your data. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Send your request to info@elektricien24service.nl. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity. We generally respond within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
10. Cookies and external services
The website uses necessary technology to function, maintain security and prevent duplicate submissions. Coverage maps may load map tiles from PDOK/Kadaster, which involves processing technical connection data such as your IP address. See our cookie policy for more information.
11. Automated decisions and children
We do not make decisions with legal effects based solely on automated processing. Our services are not aimed at children under 16. A parent or legal guardian should contact us if a minor needs help.
12. Changes
We may change this privacy statement when the website, our services or the law changes. The latest version is always available on this page with its last updated date.
