When might you need this service?

You do not need to diagnose the installation yourself.

02

A kitchen or laundry redesign

03

A new workspace

What the electrician checks

Understand the work before you agree.

01

Use the appliance specifications

Give the make, model and connection requirements if you have them. The electrician assesses what wiring and protective device are appropriate.

02

From fuse box to point of use

Distance, access and desired finish affect the route. Let us know whether floors, walls or existing conduits will be accessible during other work.

For homes in the Netherlands

Plan the interruption and access

In Dutch homes, the consumer unit is called a groepenkast and is often in the meter cupboard. Tell us if the cupboard is shared, if essential equipment must stay powered, and which new appliances you plan to use.

Work on the network connection or sealed meter may involve your grid operator; describe the existing setup so responsibilities can be clarified.

Start with a few details

Describe the job in plain English.

Tell us what you see, where the work is and how we can reach you. You do not need to choose a technical solution before contacting us.

Send your request

A request is not a confirmed booking.

Prepare your request

These details are useful.

  • Appliance specifications
  • Location of the new point
  • Preferred finish and accessible routes

In a rented home or apartment?

Tell your landlord or property manager about a fault and check who can approve changes to fixed wiring. Mention access to a shared meter room or parking area where relevant.

Find your town
Know what you are agreeing to

Ask for the full cost before work starts.

The price depends on the fault or installation, materials, labour and timing. Describe your situation so we can discuss the relevant charges before you confirm a visit.

How costs are discussed
01

Visit and diagnosis

Ask about a call-out charge and fault finding.

02

Labour, materials and VAT

Ask for the expected total, including applicable VAT.

03

Urgent or additional work

Check possible evening or weekend charges, and agree to extra work first.

04

For this particular job

Parts in the fuse box, cable length, access and finishing all contribute. Clarify whether plastering or painting is included.

Questions

Questions about dedicated circuit installation.

You can call if your situation is different.

Does every appliance need its own circuit?

It depends on the appliance, its power requirements and the installation. The specification should guide the assessment.

Do I need to know what caused the problem?

No. Tell us what stopped working, when it started and whether it affects a room or the entire property. Do not open the fuse box or try to repair exposed wiring yourself.

Is my online request a confirmed booking?

No. We contact you to discuss the job, expected timing, availability and costs. An appointment is confirmed only after you agree.

I rent my apartment. Who should I contact?

You can describe the problem to us, but also tell your landlord or property manager. For work in shared parts of a building, access and permission may need to be arranged.
